Iron Fist Shoes

I've been in a rebellious mood lately with muh fashions. That whole Saturday afternoon pin up girl has always been an inspiration, as well as the whole punk thing. You mix them together and you have this cool weird company Iron Fist. They make all sorts of bizarre things to wear; but the thing that inspired me the most was their shoes. The designs are fun and funky and can translate into many different worlds. The best thing about them is that they are AFFORDABLE at a price point hovering about $50 a pair. If you comb the net you can find all sorts of variations on the designs, from platforms, to heels, flats and boots. But here are some of the ones that I liked the most. I found these at Babygirlboutique.com and a new site vixensandangels.com. Be sure to stop by and see what IRON FIST has to offer you!

Bold Jewels for Bold Women

I have noticed lately that big bold jewels are back! I remember my grandma wearing giant rings back in the 70's with her pantsuits, or when she threw parties for the crew. I have seen them creeping back but as causual day to day accents for us girls in the know. I really like the statement they make with a flowy top and some just right jeans and that oversized bag.
I found this company Fantasy Jewelry Box that has just about everything under the sun, from wedding settings, to promise rings and back. But they do have a section specifically dedicated to Coctail rings. Some of them are Liz Taylor spectacular with a bargain basement appeal. These that I have here range from $40 to $90. They also have animal shaped jewel encrusted beauties for the $150 range. Whatever your flavor, taste or proclivity they have something there for you.

Jazzy Tees for those in the Know

Alright you vinylheads and WaxPoetics worshippers, listen up!
There is this super fly tee company by the name of Your Friend or Foe who takes iconic Soul and Jazz imagery and puts it on tees for those who are serious about their music (clothing) gear.
The styles are versatile and the graphics sleek. The cotton is lightweight, and the color choices bold and vibrant, just like Jazz.
The art ranges from Issac Hayes, to Thelonius Monk, John Coltraine, Lee Morgan and Miles Davis.
I was naturally a little annoyed with the absense of women artists, but I am communicating with the company about that now. lol. =c/
Price point about $40 for each. If you want to make that statement, by all means check them out.
